I'm wondering if anyone has any comments on the value of an Open Degree? I'm 30 years old and I had a horrible college experience which put me off further education, and I left before getting any full A-Levels so I've been out of education for at least 10 years.
I've actually managed to get a fairly good job but recently I've had people putting some pressure on me (Nothing excessive) to continue my studies but I can't afford to leave employment so I was considering a part time Degree with The OU.
None of the degrees stand out to me, but an Open Degree with Management and Statistics does appeal, especially since my area of work is Management Information.
Is anyone else doing an Open Degree and can recommend it? Has anyone else done it and think it has value?
